Rainbow Dialogues (Panel Discussion)

On Saturday March 28th, 2026 we organized the 9th Annual Rainbow Dialogues—”Radical Rochester: 50 Years of Activism”—at the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County.

The first part of the event comprised a panel discussion titled “Feminists on Fire: Rochester Women Against Violence Against Women in the 1970s and 80s.”

For the panel discussion, Bridget and Elizabeth spoke about the history of feminist activism in Rochester with two people who are central to this history: Sylvia Gasoi and Katherine Denison.

The second part of our event included a keynote delivered by Rochester councilmember Stanley Martin.
